I really don't understand what is going on with the Fred Meyers in South Anchorage. I don't know if someone is returning them or some one is clearing out boxes from the back or....whatever.... All I know is that they have a 10 for $10 deal going on right now, cars and or track segments, which was originally stocked with G case code cars. That display got picked clean, partially by me, including a 55 Bel Air Super Treasure Hunt. I went by today and it was filled mostly with D case code cars, with some G codes sprinkled in, so I picked up the Angry Birds Red, Angry Birds Pig and the Bat Pod. I swung by the aisle just to see what was hanging on the pegs and, BOOM, more 2011's.
...AND a completely random 2012 Matchbox.
This is my first ever, non-trade, non-gifted, Super Treasure Hunt.
The messed up thing is the only reason I got this one is I had to make an emergency Rubbermaid tub run after my estate haul.
I keep looking over my shoulder to see the train that is going to hit me, my luck is going to run out soon....it has to..right?

I still have yet to find a Super. I refuse to ebay them because it defeats the purpose, and I haven't been hunting as much so I'll have to get really lucky to find one.
That orange COPO is sexy though, not sure how I missed that one when it was out.

Since I am from Europe, can somebody explain to me the fascination with Datsun, what is their status in the US( when it comes to the real vehicles) ?

I have only ever found one other REGULAR treasure hunt. The 2014 Rescue Duty. When I found this one I just stared at it for a couple of minutes.

I agree, BY FAR, my favorite 2011 I have ever found.

I've found 4 or 5 different THs, but I have like 4 of the RX7 and 5 Fire Eaters.

Good God man, your luck is tremendous. Impressive haul! I love the Willys, the R32 and the Ford GT....and yeah, that TH is awesome.

I am not going to lie, for the past two months I hit both the Fred Meyers by my house every three days or so. I start getting antsy if I don't.

Any chance you'd be willing to trade this?

I pretty much have to look somewhere once a week. Wednesday night we checked Toys R Us and managed to find a few I didn't have, plus couple of traders. The grocery stores around here have been a good hunting ground too, but their supply is getting thin and I've sorted through them all numerous times. Next week I'm going to check Wal Mart and probably a nearby KMart as well.

That is probably the best looking design on the Ford GT I have seen on a Hot Wheels.

Yes all day this!

I have received more comments on the Willys than all the rest of the cars combined. It amazes me that Hot Wheels doesn't put more pre-1960 classics in their lineup.

It looks almost sinister. I agree that its the best GT design I have ever seen.
